Our Story
The seeds of Malmo began in 1893, out of a need for the community to have a prayer house. A place where people could gather to pray & worship & fellowship. We have been in this field ever since – praying, caring, & sharing our lives together.
Malmo’s history dates back to the late 1800’s. Many Minute Books (written in Swedish) dating back to 1893 and anniversary books have been found in the church storage to document our beginnings. We have a rich heritage of prayer and mission work here at Malmo Mission Covenant.
If you have time, take a look at the anniversary books below. The stories and pictures give you a good glimpse of what life was like 100 plus years ago, and show how God has been writing the story of Malmo ever since.
